As this security light was for the back of the house, we needed to be able to turn it off to stop it coming on in the summer evenings when sitting outside. This is perfect, as it has a remote with on/off switch, plus other features if required. Unlike my last one, it doesn't trigger in wind and rain at random too. So far very pleased and for the price a real bargain.

Neat looking light with adjustable colour, brightness and timer delay, all done via the remote control. Great piece of kit.

Well made, IP65 water resistant, Aluminium cast back. Auto mode works well at night. Manual is basic and doesn't explain all usage. us Can't see a way of adjusting sensitivity but the default seems OK. Although the description suggests the remote makes it easier for setup? It appears to me that the additional settings on the remote apart from a power override are only for manual use having it on say for general illumination. I was hoping to reduce the brightness when in security use turning on with motion, maybe it can be done but haven't figured it out so far. The mains lead is as usual on these things quite short which is a nuisance if you plan to feed it inside to connect. Also as is usual a pity that the bracket although swivels vertically wont do so horizontally. You don't always want a light beam to be at 90 degrees to the wall. Having said all that its a good light.
